If I remember correctly you aren't that big on punctuality either, where I HATE running late. I also hate employees who are habitually late. This is another reason I just couldn't pool. It would ruin my day to say I was running late because so in so wasn't ****ing ready.

If I beat the boss, I am not late. But then again, we sometimes work over, through lunch, etc. Not to say that excuses the times we are late...but still. The other people I am carpooling with arrive about the same time, so that won't be an issue. What may be an issue is that I spend a little more time over than they do. They hit the door at 4. Whereas I spend the last 5 minutes making a list of thing I need to do tomorrow.

I stay over all the time. It is just one of the things that I am anal on. Unnaturally anal probably. In fact before we were married it was the number one reason of us to fight. I have learned to let it go when it is her, but I just can't at work. As the boss though it is really my only pet peeve. Outside of punctuality I am pretty fair about things.

You are probably right...There is something that drives me to do it...Not really certain what it is though.

I would imagine it is just to say you have done it. Then you can use the "been there done that" phrase. New experiences always have a pretty good draw.
