Mid to late 90's Honda/Acura auto?
Built to fail. The manuals however, very durable. Some of the best feeling trannys too.

I've got 135k on my hoe with no issues. Diff acts up sometimes but other then that no real problems.

5spd. 1990 Integra LS. Long story short, the car was ghetto-fied when I got it, (still is really, progress is slow) and 5th went out on me shortly after purchase. This has, fyi not been a wise vehicle purchase on my part. Anyways, after new shift linkage, rebuilt 5th gear, 2 new motor mounts, new clutch/resurfaced flywheel and 2 new axles I was ready to go. (Keep in mind, I elected to have the other work outside the linkage and the 5th gear done additionally . They were there, might as well do it in one shot). So anyways, it took forever, I guess I have the a1 transmission? I guess only a place in cali had 5th gear for it, acura had it on backorder for a silly price. So they got it all zipped up for me, worked great. It is a great shifting ***** now, and everything was like new, until my wife drove it today, and said it sounded like something was dragging. I went down and checked it out, and the shifter is all spongy, like the shift cable came loose, or is about to break. So the ***** shop is sending down a truck to get it...hopefully I will hear something soon.
