Yeah a lot of counties are doing that now. I have had to roughly plat properties via gis before if the split wasnt on the lot line.otoh, I found my county has GIS maps of all the properties, with a feature to calculate distance.
For instance, at one property, I am 120' from my neighbor's pool.
So its bigger on paper but not actually much if any bigger usable space. Gotcha.Indeed.
Here is why it matters.
The real estate agent indicated one property has a much larger lot than other. And this is true. However, it is at the end of a cul-de-sac. And aprox 3,000 of property is lost due to cul-de-sac and another aprox 8,000 lost due to trees.
However, the tree line to my right provides a 15' foot buffer against neighbors.
You would be surprised by how many people blindly purchase homes.I would figure all people do...or maybe they don't know what resources are fully available.
She did let me know of a few programs for first time home buyers.
Honestly it depends on the county. The assessor's office often has floor plans but they will not always be up to date. It took the assessor in my father's county 12 years to add his addition into the assessed value.moke,
Where would one look to see if floor plans are available?
