Man, everytime I go into a B and M car audio place I get pissed. Yesterday, I went into one because this guy who does installs works there. Unfortanetely the guy was not there and the guy guy up front started talking to me about the fabrication work I need for my speakers.

He first wants to argue about why I need to replace the piece of plastic stock piece in the first place. (He thinks plaistic works just fine.) Then, when I tell him that that really is a non issue since it doesn't fit anyway, he tries to explain how I could trim the base of it out. I tell him no, that wont work and I go get the driver to show him why.

He first asks where I got it -- because Rainbow is not a brand he has ever heard of. He then starts asking me what is the deal with the basket, that he has never seen anything like that. I tell him that it is just powder coated steel and he laughs and says he has never heard of that either.

He then tells me that it is not a 6.5 -- it is a 7 inch. I tell him that it is a 6.5 and one of the more shallow ones I could find. He says that is not shallow. I tell him it is less than 2.5 mounting depth. The fvcker says I don't think so and he actually measures it. He says, man you are good. I laugh and tell him that I knew how deep it was before I bought it.

A customer comes in complaing that his lights are dimming and other complaints about his electrical. They tell him that he has a bad alty. He tells them that he had no problems before they installed his system. On my way out I walked by his SUV and saw he had at least two big *** amps. My guess is that they just sold him whatever without even discussing the capabilities of his alty.
