I remember it being mentioned briefly that it was another side effect, but they didnt go into any real detail about it

I want to read the book, just from watching the movie, it seems like a great book that was dumbed down by the screenwriters

You actually caught onto the reason I like her so much. She is extremely mature for her age or hell girls that are 5 -8 years older than her. She likes to get down and party but she also knows how to take care of herself and a family. I love her maturity level.
