I thought it was getting better, then some days it'll just hurt all day long.

I know what ya mean. My ankles are so bad, that my feet will be unbearable for up to 3 days after working an 8 hour shift. And for those 3 days, I mean, hunched over, decrepit, barely able to walk pain. It sucks ***. I got surgery done to help fix my ankles a while back. Slowly but surely, they are getting better. I think losing weight and working out my legs is helping too.
