What's wrong with an apartment? When I move to Detroit I'll be getting an apartment.I don't make enough money to do that. I make enough to live here, pay for gas, and food and small items for myself but if I had my own place I would most likely have to live in an apt and that isn't happening.
Then I'd just clean for him. Compromise. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifand actually besides the not cleaning. He's actually the best room mate I've ever had. He always has rent, he's very rarely here. He doesn't party, he doesn't smoke, he doesn't do drugs. He's actually a very good room mate it's just he sucks when it comes to cleaning.
what if the walls aren't thin then it's a possibility to play music at a decent volume and not cause any commotionI hate places where you can hear people around you. You yourself cannot be loud or anything. Those are the main points. I guess it would be big enough if it was just me. But I have a decent home audio setup and I couldn't have it on if I lived in an apt.
Yea I'm not loud. I also never host parties so this is not a problem. What was nice in Florida, we were all in our 20's and nobody cared about noise.I hate places where you can hear people around you. You yourself cannot be loud or anything. Those are the main points. Just try having a real calm conversation with him, and start off giving him some props with all that stuff. Then just ask him if he will start making an effort to do some each day just so it will not get so bad. If he starts to get pissed, just walk off and say, "I didn't mean to make you mad. Just think about it some" Just because it is confrontational does not mean it has to be adversarial.and actually besides the not cleaning. He's actually the best room mate I've ever had. Be cool like fonzie.
He'll just accept what he has to do and realize that he makes a mess and SHOULD clean up what he makes a mess of and then he'll realize that you don't like it when he doesn't clean up so talkin works.hmm I like this advice. That's not a bad idea at all. Yeah I don't want to make him mad I just want him to understand how I feel and what he's putting me through. I don't think he'll get mad though, he and I are both pretty passive.
He's the man.LOL Fonzie //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
The key to these things is not to let it build up so that the conversation is destined to be an argument. Talk to him when you are relaxed and don't get offended if he brings up something about you that pisses him off. In fact, expect it. It is human nature to be defensive and I can assure you that there are things that you do that irritates him.hmm I like this advice. That's not a bad idea at all. Busting a nut on his GF or sisters face could be one of the things that pisses him off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifHe's the man.
