If you would kindly have a look at my thread I've posted all the needed T/S specs (I think).

I'm more than a bit clueless when it comes to enclosure-type stuff but I read directions well.

And Prowler, I am no help on the box. I wish I could look at a sub's specs and determine that the Qwhatever just screams for a certain size etc. But I have never really even read a good explanation of how to do that.

What I do know is that often user's experience indicates that the ideal box for a sub is different than what the manufacturer recommends (esp. with sealed boxes, which all mftr's seem to delight in saying our sub only needs a small box).

Well, I'm using that calculator on bcae1 - and I do believe it is as clueless as I am regarding such things.

It is suggesting a 3 cu ft sealed enclosure and just over 6 cu ft for a ported alignment.

Not bloody likely...

Nope - but it is looking like this particlular driver is better suited for that application than it is for mobile usage, eh?

Well - the driver I'm needing an enclosure for is those subs' somewhat larger brother - the KFC-Xw12dB.

Same driver, same model year, different size.

Anybody got recommendations for getting out of credit card debt? I got roughly $3500 in debt between 3 cards. My plan is to pay the smaller ones off first, then tackle the big one.

Mathematically, it makes more sense to pay off the one with the highest rate.
Physchologically, pay off the smallest one.

Learn to cut costs. Analyze your spending and see where you can cut costs.

The worst part of it is, I really have nothing to show for this debt. I have no car audio, no expense electronics, just a Wii and an ipod. I did however put my cousins Wii on my Sears card, but they will be paying me back shortly. My one card has $2500, and the others are just $400 and $500.

It's rather difficult without manufacturer's specs, I assume you are looking to go ported?

I wish I had the first clue as to what the various T/S specs mean as far as what kind of enclosure the driver in question is best suited for - but those bits of info are so far outside of my realm of expertise it's not even funny.
