Really...perhaps you can give me some pointers then
I liked John Coltrane pretty good. I liked Miles Davis okay, but his songs are too long.
I am wanting agood piano + (sax/trumpet/metal instrument like that)
If you are into the '60s like Coltrane and the MoTown feel, you might like Cannonball Adderely and his quintet. I LOVE almost every thing he has done, plus he can play the shit out of the alto.
Did you like Mile's 'Kind of Blue'?
"Them Dirty Blue's" is a great one. "Somethin' Else" is a classic, but "Live in San Francisco" is probably my favorite.Any CD you would specifically reccomend? I will prolly get a few from Amazon after the holidays.
You should pick up these two cd's, they're both duo, but more modern stuff. Sounds great.Duo or trio...
Not too big on "singing" at this point...sometimes, yes. But I am growing a greater appreciation for just the music as 95% of the music I hear, I hear in the car....so it can be nice and relaxing without the distractions of lyrics.
noiceTenor.
That's what I'm focusing on now, but have been thinking about switching to tenor. Saxophones are dam expensive though so I'll probably stick with alto lolI played alto.
Nope not really. If anything I want to learn to play the piano. I do miss the whole marching band and jazz band thing though. You ever miss playing?
I think I paid 900 for a used sax in middleschool or something. and that was after renting it for a while. it was almost brand new though.noice
