I'm sure I'll sell it after I invest a couple hundred bux into it to take care of a few nitpicky details that have apparently been neglected for awhile. It's not in the greatest of shape but what can you expect for a $100 car purchase, right?
All the glass is solid - no cracks or stars anywhere that I can find. Everything in it works excepting the A/C. The interior is all red but for some reason the original cloth front seats (which were red as well I'm assuming) were replaced with gray vinyl seats out of either another Bronco or a Ranger I'm guessing. A $20 set of seatcovers will cure that little color clash issue. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
It has a complete POS Rampage cassette deck in it that is missing the volume adjustment buttons. It works but it's complete crap. And whoever installed it tried to do it the right way with a factory harness adapter but they attached both of the speaker outputs to the left side (only two channels of speaker output on the deck) so before I had a closer look I wondered if both of the right speakers were blown or missing. Happily neither is the case - they simply weren't hooked up. Most likely I'll get one of those $80 bottom-end Xplod CD players from
Crutchfield to throw in there just so there is a working CD player in it - crap or no it will still grab someone's attention I'm sure.
Other than those minor details and the A/C being inoperable (which I won't bother having fixed) the valve cover gaskets need replacing and it needs two tires.
So - bought it running for $100.
It needs VCGs so add another $20-$30 in parts and I can do the labor myself.
Seatcovers will add another $30 or so.
A pair of used tires will hit me for about $40 mounted and balanced I'm guessing.
Top all that off with an $80 Cd player and I'll be into it for under $300 and then just turn around and sell it for $700 or $800 or even more if I can get it.
I'll put $1500 on the For Sale sign and go from there, I suppose.
Easy profitability = crunk indeed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
