crunch on a kicker

hey i got a crunch ground pounder gp1100.2 that im going to power my 2006 kicker solobaric with the amp pushes 550 rms bridged and the kicker peaks at 1200 is this amp gonna give me the bang 4 the buck that i put into it or should i resell or trade it and purchase a new one? i have the kicker in a ported box that has about 4 cubic feet in it. please help. o yeah the crunch amp says to power with at least a 8guage wire kit but i was thinking of getting 4 guage should i go smaller?

you'll only get about 200 watts out of it really..just sell it and hit ebay if your on a budget..

so this amp aint shitt? is it worth it to leave the kicker unused and sell the amp and take about 2-3months to save for a new amp or to just hook the ***** up? i want my sub to pound i mean i want my car to rattle and to piss off nearby cars when i purchased the kicker i read reviews about it was able to be heard 3 blocks away and it rattled some dudes rear view mirror off that why i paid 300 for it i got the dul 2 ohm should i sell the sub as well and invest in a new system? i am anxious to just hook it up because right now im running a tijuana back alley crap on a stick ebay all in one package 4 12" and 2 amps for $140. dome shit like cuspid xtreme //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif i also bought a jensen mp5010k head uinit to power my kicker. ****. my ears are bleeding from the quietness of the system and the thought that my kicker is calling my name

if u want that sub to pound ur gonna have to get a ton more power including caps, power wire and alot bigger amp....you said that its dual 2ohm so if u wired it in parallel that would leave u with a 1ohm load, Im almost sure that amp wouldnt be able to handle a 1ohm load...

I would say by hooking up stuff that really isnt matched for power or ohm loads just to hook it up could turn out really bad with wasting alot of money, get the right stuff and then spend your time to do an install
