Crunch gp3000d-pro

Someone asked my opinion on my new one in another thread, here was my reply. If there are any specific questions, I would be happy to try and answer them. As for efficiency, I do not know how to determine that exactly? I will say one thing though that I failed to mention in the reply below, I asked on here about fusing and was told to use a 200A fuse, however, the instruction manual says to use a 300A fuse.

"I love the Crunch amp so far; I have only had it up and running for about 3 days. It seems to have a ton of power, however, I am not even sure how to tell the efficiency. FWIW, I have a stock battery (65 series, which is close to a 27) in the front, stock 160A alternator, and a BatCap 800 in the back. I have the Big 3 and pos and neg 1/0 runs front to back. With all that and running 50 mph down the road, the lights still dim pretty bad. I guess I need to upgrade the alternator, yet I can not find anyone who makes one for my car, and/or add some more battery(s). But overall, I have been very happy with the Crunch amp thus far.

Any tips on how to measure its' efficiency would be great..."

I currently own 2 GroundPounder 3000's and they are the absolute bomb. Personally, I have never owned a better amplifier. I'm not quite sure HOW efficient they are, but I know they make a$$ loads of power. My 2 groundpounder's are beating the piss out of 3 IA Death Penalty 15's. I metered a 151.5 with most of my Young Jeezy stuff. My advice to you would be to contact a guy on termpro by the name of Eric Alexander (screen name is Team Livewire - Eric) as he will probably be the most intelligent person around to speak about the GP 3000. Sorry I couldn't be of better assistance, but I can assure you that this amp is worth every last penny and right now there is no better amp for the money.

the amps are

priced sick cheap

1 ohm stable

strapable

small foot print

do rated power at 14 volts

do more power the more volts you feed

cosmetically nice looking package similar in look to XXV series hifonics

they have sound quality

bring bass knob

i can't think of another 3000 watt mono amp for $ 450 shipped that is better or that i would rather have

and 2 gp's straped for 6000 watts for $ 900 shipped , i can;t think of anything else i would rather have for $900 new that gives 6000 watts

my customers are in love with them as well
