crown victoria owners read this! help!

well i recently bought two dayton dvc 15' subwoofers, a cadence sqa 1 amp, and this enclosure from ebay

i have been driving around an 86 (i think) 420 sel mercedes benz but i am getting a new car tomorrow which is a crown victoria

i tried putting the enclosure in the trunk of my mercedes earlier tonight to transport it to the car tomorrow, but it wouldnt fit. this worried me

i know that crown vic trunks are MASSIVE!!, but i thought this trunk was pretty big too. by the dimensions of that enclosure, would it fit in the trunk of the crown vic?

i looked up the trunk on google images and saw that theres a lower part in the trunk, will it fit? the back is slanted not completely flat on the enclosure.

of course that box will fit. you might have to fire the subs up though

You will have plenty of room in the crown vic. That box will look tiny in the trunk.

you might have to flip the box where the sub are facing up. that trunk has a deep part with a shelf like thing that comes out on the sides so when put a box in that trunk it sits funny. if you put the box in there regular put something under it to keep it from moving

ok but the wires come out on the back, which means the wires would be under the box but thats fine right

and what would you suggest putting under it

the wire thing is fine just put some wood blocks under the box or whatever you can find to hold it up

You won't need to upfire the subs. I had a much bigger box in my crown vic

and one more quick question. i asked on another forum about what would be the best subs and amp to get for my budget which was around 500 dollars and everything in the first post is what i ended up getting.

in that topic, someone said "I'd also look at upgrading the other speakers and adding another amp as soon as possible. Depending on the head unit, it may require upgrading as well.

"

what does he mean by upgrading the amp.. if i get an amp with higher wattage, will it increase the volume of the subs or how does that work

or do you think he meant get a "better" amp meaning thats just a cheap one to start out with.

also how would you rate that equipment?

lol well i think the point is to sound good on the inside idc about on the outside but yeah im gonna try and get my friend to help me put it all in tomorrow.. hopefully he will ive been waiting for this car for a long *** time if not ill get it in on saturday. either way ill maybe put some pics up and tell you how it sounds
