my friend cross wired his subs to his amp and now his amp wont turn on, is there anyway to fix it?

edit: he switched the positive and negative wires.

just means the phase was backwards...should not cause the amp to "not turn on"

They're retarded over there, unless he put 12v POWER and negative backwards, that can be a problem.

no it was just the the positive and negative on the speakers and amp were backwards, negative on positive and positive on negative. weird, any other reason his amp would just shut off like that?

ok the amp is now powering on but no sound is coming from it, and when i wiggle the speaker wire into the channels it will thump and it will spark at the point of contact.... any suggestions lol? oh and the terminals the whole block it self seems to be wobbly like it is broken. im guessing thats wat it is but im not sure.
