Powering two 12" Type R's wired to 1-ohm (500 RMS each)

Excuse my ignorance, I have searched the forums extensively for both. Both get quality reviews and I feel I can't go wrong with either, just thought I'd throw it out there for brief debate to see what people have to say.

ive accidentally put the + in the - and the - in the + on 6 vr1000d's (w/ the protection circuits removed) on a 17v system and they still worked prefect..they'll play music at nearly any load and dont get too hot..probally one of the best 1000d's imo. Id take it over a bd1000, kx1200, cx1200, 75.1, db1100, etc etc (owned/tested all of them)

looks real nice. Still can't decide between crossfire and diamond
Why? most everyone said the Crossfire is better. I've owned many Crossfires and not only are they way under rated but they have audiophile SQ.

I've got a BMF1000D in my pu thats been road hard and put away wet everyday for the last 6 years and it still rocks! Zero issues with my Crossfire amps.

I was a big LinearPower lover since the late 80's until I tried a Crossfire.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Also! The newer CF have a 7 year warranty(not that you'll need it).

The crossfire VR and older BMF amps not only put out so much more power compared to what they they are spec'd at but the sound quality is very impressive as well. Diamond has lost it in the last few years since they changed ownership.
