Critique on DynaAudio & Morel Dome Midrange Help

I have been looking at Dome Midranges. Justin brought to my attention that dome midranges have a better off-axis response. (i had asked about this image, about whats the imaging behind that, & as to why they werent aimed)

Well id like to be able to do that ^^^ make my kicks that flush while still sounding good/great.

so i was looking into the Morel CDM-54 ( http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4842 )

& the DynaAudio MD140/2 ( http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1571 )

any critiques on those 2?...im leaning towards the Morels.

I noticed that the frequency response starts from 400hz(morel) & 500hz(dyna), that would mean i would need a nice stout pair of midbasses to get anything lower than that. I'm thinkin the AAs should be fine, mainly because have those right now at the moment.

If there are anyother Midrange Dome drivers you could recomend that would be great..please explain why if u have a recomendation.

I would use the AA's for your midbass, like you said.

I think it is.

They come in a 3 -way set, and run around $900.

Shon, the owner of ROE has them, and he says they are amazing.

The Morels,Dyn and DLS are all available individually. Yes thats the Iridiums posted above. Woofers is Not a dealer for any of them.

if doing domes....then I'd stick with a midbass driver that can play well in the lower midrange area...and not aa's which tend to be midbass heavy...

I have apprehension that any of them can play low in the kick in a truck though.

Most of them will not drop below 600 on some even that is pushing it.

i basically have my cal27 and lotus 4" in the same configuration as the iridiums above and it works very well. but it was a bit more work though since i had to cut meal in the kicks to get the lotus' to fit in there. personally i would rather go with a cone as it can be crossed much lower in general than domes. i also heard the atc domes can get down to 300hz.

I meant low as in a distance and angle, not frequency.

But if they will play in the kicks in a truck, I may be 3way hybird-active afterall.
