Critique my audio plans

Hi,

I have been upgrading my car's sound system since last Christmas. I first installed a Pioneer DEH-2300 headunit. Next, I added two 5-1/4" Pioneer 3-ways to the front (in the front doors). Now I just recently added two 6x9" Pioneer 4-ways to the rear. Doesn't sound too bad, but there just isn't enough power going to the speakers I think (headunit is kinda cheap and low end).

So, I'm going to add an amp to power the 6x9s. I'm looking at either the Pioneer GM-X962 or the Rockford Fostage 300S. The 300S has that wired bass boost remote that I think would be nice to have, although I hear the 300S overheats sometimes.

Eventually, I'm going to add one 8" or 10" sub in the trunk. Don't want my car to be heard from 10 miles away, just something to add an extra kick to the music. I'll probably just hook the 6x9s back up to the headunit and bridge the amp to run the sub. Unless I find some extra money and get a new headunit with 2 pairs of preamp outputs and a 4 channel amp (my HU only has one pair of preamp outputs).
