Crimping?

besides a designated crimping tool, what do you guys use to crimp your connectors? I used a vice grip on some of my connectors for my 4 gauge stuff, dont know how good that is. what should i use for the 0Gauge im getting?>

They sell these crimpers for large wire. I believe 8 gauge up.

It's basically a crimper, except a lot bigger. You use a hammer instead of squeezing. It's intense. Just make sure not to get a finger caught in there. i actually use a set of grip pliers. squeeze tighten the grip squeeze tighten. i've done up to 0awg like that. works well

You could solder them, too. I actually prefer that to crimping. A good solder joint will almost never come apart.
