Crimping RCAS

I accidentally cut the rca connectors off on the back of my alpine headunit and was wondering if id be able to just crimp the wires to the long rca cable going to my amp?

you can buy RCA plugs on partsexpress.com or you can just cut the RCA cable and solder the 2 together
