Crimp or Solder?

How are those wedge crimpers at harbor freight?

you'll never be able to get the proper pressing force out of those to get a "true" crimp... while they are leaps better than most crimping pliers out there, they still dont come close to a hydraulic crimp press... and IMO a proper solder would still be better

a good ''cheap'' crimper will still be close to a grand.

I usually just use a table vice to crimp stuff but it can be pretty time consuming and it isn't a very good alternative.

yea jesse, as a rule of thumb, you usually want to stay away from harbor freight tools. While they will sometimes have a quality tool, majority of the time, they're not even worth your time

That won't get close to what a real crimper will do. At that point just solder it, but use the right solder.
