Well, been trying to get a credit card LOW limit sense i was about 18. i'm 21 now. every company ive tryed has denied me.. i have no credit at all. any of you guys know a good credit card company that would help me out maybe? i just need a low limit card to raise my credit alittle because right now i have no bills in my name to raise it at all at the moment.

do you have anything in your name? insurance? car?
try CapitalOne, they seem easy, that was/still is my first and only so far
No, nothing at all in my name right now, but i think what is holding me back.. acouple years ago.. Nextel charged me a bill twice in one month it was a mistake one their end that they did not wanna fix. so i had to get out of the contract they stuck me with a 900 dollar bill for one month that i never did pay. so maybe thats the reason i can't get a credit card anywhere?

I started taking out small loans...for a few $1000 on various things like car audio...car parts having a good time...etc. when I was young...after paying off a few of them ...the credit cards started rolling in...at onetime I had 20 or so different cards...now I've knocked back to only a few....

http://www.orchardbank.com is almost guaranteed. May not start out at the best rates, but the annual fee is relatively low and you should do okay. Cap1 is another one to start out with. Also, do you have a checking account? If so, how long have you had it? If your account has been in good standing for the most part, ask the bank for an overdraft line of credit. This will usually come in the form of a credit card and have a small limit to start out.

ive had a checking account for a solid 3 years. and for the annual fee part. i was always told it was best to have 0 annual fees because they can kill you with annual fees?

Well if course it's best not to pay an annual fee, but being that you have no credit, you're not exactly in a position of leverage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Start out with what you can, and work your way up. When I turned 18, I got an Orchard Bank card with a 9.9% introductory APR for 12 months and a $59 annual fee. Not like rocking an AmEx, but it gets you started at least.
