creating a mp3 with folders`

how do i create a mp3 cd that has folders inside so instead of one cd with 100+ songs, i can easily navigate several folders with 20 songs a piece.

I am on a Mac running 10.4.5 and iTunes .

I'm not certain how it works on a Mac and/or in iTunes but I use Nero and I simply put whatever .mp3 files into folders ~ said folders being labeled whatever I find appropriate (my most common .mp3 discs are just several albums, each folder being another album) and then drag-n-drop those folders into my burning deal and viola! Goto My Computer and find the drive that you burn Cds on. Make Folders with appropriate names and open another window with your list on songs on your hard drive. Drag and drop. Then burn it as a data cd.

one more question...

could I have a folder that holds several folders inside? so it'd be like Folder 1 Folder 2 --> Folder A Folder B?

ya thats how i do it with y mp3 cd's....just make folders...so much easier to navigate

You will need to check your cd player to see if it can read like that. I can only have folders with file in them, not like your describing.

I can, in Nero, and it looks like this:

Then I just burn it, and listen to a nice organized CD.

All of my music on my computer is organized in folders like that. First folder is music, then the artist name is the next folder, then the particular CD.

Any regular CD-R will work fine.

I cannot see there being a problem using Windows Media as your burning utility. The above is simply a method of organizing your various media rather than a burning utility-specific way of doing things. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
