Crazy long ars port!?

Ok, considering the RL-i8's require a tiny little box. I am having a fun time designing the optimal "small" enclosure. My previous design had to much noticable port noise, So I am re-designing it.

The only way for me to get the effective port area is to build a stream lined slot port along the edge of the box.

Would any box builders like to point out any design flaws or problems this could cause.

Appreciate any help.

What about a labyrinth port, like I have for my e12a.22 enclosure, to cram enough port area to drop the tuning down to 27Hz, while retaining a pretty small overall volume?
Tried this approach, but it would in turn cause my box's length to be pretty darn long. Nearing 31". And for 2 little 8's that seems a bit extreme.

you can always go with a tube port that extends out the box... l0l
Maybe if this box was going in to a geo, or a cavalier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

But it will be fully visible, and aesthetics are a 75% importance.

Nevermind about that one. Now I'm going to try to work this one in. It has to fit behind the 3rd row seat... Probably going to be starting on it this weekend.

Should be fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
