vent mach

Ok I will just post what I know in hopes of answering your question, as I also don't know what you mean by mach...

1. The vent should be placed on the same plane as the sub

2. The vent should have atleast 1.5 times the diameter on the inside end, to avoid lengthening the port and effect tuning

3. Flared ports work well when they are twice the diamter

Not saying this is correct at all, but I am 99% sure it is

searched, no answer to my questionwhen doing the vent, is there an area where the vent mach should be at?

if anyone could explain thanks
Depending on the speakers size and XMAX. This will determine the amount of port area to use.

Here is a site with a ROUGH calculation on port area. Do not take the number it gives you as the holy grail.

Also In designing a port to minimize port noise a ratio of 1:8 is Ideal. But I always use 1:6.
