sure if you only want 125db..

after useing and installing xbl^2 woofers there nice when it comes to low powered sq installs.. the only woofer that has xbl i would consider is the stereointgrity woofers.. i perfer highouput sytems that sound excellent. 2500s happen to do great..

I'm not an XBL fanboy, I just used the Shiva-X as an example of a driver I'd prefer over the DD.

I have an original non-XBL^2 Shiva from '03 that I still use every day, won't be getting rid of it anytime soon.

output is a great way to measure efficency of the system, it can also tell you true xmax/mag(electromotive) not with 1volt of input), much bettet at plotting b/l curves, since inductance and power compression affect motor strength and linearity.. amoung other things.. SQ isn't a measure of proformance as well ESP knowing different people likr different dampning band widths and music...

Ill get sum APXXs for about 1/2 of what a SHW costs and pull extremely similar numbers and will take just about the same power.

Thats what I thought to..... in the beginning... and I was wrong... WAY WRONG..

So wrong I got rid of my APX and APXX... they couldnt compare daily

Actually the same box, The Alpha Max were alot more musical. The HW are louder but also have twice the power on them.

Steve I have no problem with you saying that you're making a better product and pushing new research. But don't make it look like the rest of us are lowering our quality.

Look around, Many companies are going for budget. Reducing the products they offer. It is everywere not just in 12 volt.

Many companies have stopped going to trade shows and events, It is what it is.

I did not say all or point out anyone. Quit taking stuff personally.
