i have 2 12" sony explode subs hooked up to a bolt 900w amp.

now, when one sub is hooked up and after i have tuned it, it sounds suprisingly good. the second i hook them both up, they sound quiet and extremely crappy.

is this because i need a capacitor or is it because my amp is not powerful enough?

probably an impedence problem....what is the voice coil impedence on ur subs and are they single or dual? also, is ur bolt amp a two channel or mon block? what is it's impedence rating? and how are u wiring the subs? subs to the amp?

answer those, then hopefully we'll be able to answer urs...lol

btw...a cap won't help it sound better....
