Take some duct tape and a butter knife or other blunt object and go around the gap and clean it out. Works great.

lol...alright..i got it all cleaned...and all the glue off form around the surround landing and spider landing...question is, can I use a tooth brush and soapy water to throughly clean it?

use a dremel and grinding tip....or....use a grinding tip and a regular drill works great. Never used soap and water.

well i didnt use the soap.....i just used a tooth brush and some hot water and got all the shaving form the glue and stuff out of the little cracks. Took the motor off to ensure no rusting.

I like to sand the landings and take a warm washcloth and wipe it down. btw, just got done reconing the second hdc 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif took about 10min getting faster with each sub I do lol

nice..

decided on a color to paint the basket. since im a hunter and all, im going to paint it camo I think, and if I dont do camo Im just going to add blue and white flake paint to it.
