i put my amp up for sale on craigslist and finally get an email about it and its a fking scammer. i love how he never says what the item is. im about to send one saying somethings along the line of **** u u scammer.

heres his first email.

Let me know if your item still available and the asking price...Bye

and the second after i said it is still "available"

Hi, thanks for the quick response... Am satisfied with the price andcondition of the item. I will like to make an outright purchase of the

item. I am out of town on a business trip, so i will like to proceed

in issuing out a certified check to you and upon the confirmation and

clearance of payment my shipper will come for the pick-up at your

I don't see how it can be a scam. He says for one that you can wait until payment clears. And then it says that someone gets sent in person to pick up the item.
You'd think if it was a scam, it would say something like "as soon as you get the check, mail the item", etc.

from what ive heard you get the money than the bank finds out its a fake check than they take it back or something like that. and they have your "item" and ur fk over.
