Craftsman 19.2 drill vs 18v dewalt drill

Well trying to decide on what to get friday

Can get the dewalt 18v drill kit for $97

or I can go to sears and get a 19.2v drill with right angle drill for just over $110

you all should know what the dewalt is....I''m in the construction management field, and will be mostly used to build boxes and for installs

also batts for the craftsman are only $30, compared to 60-80 for the dewalt...which should I get, need to decide by tonight

dewalts not what it use to be. But i never used and battery powere craftsman tools either.

DeWalt makes the best cordless drills IMO...I have quite a few and have one that's about 7-8 years old that's still running like it was new, and I've used it for a ton of stuff.

my 14.4v xrp dewalt makes more power than most 18v drills.

id go for the dewalt as well. working at sears (with returns) , ive seen quite a few craftsman come back.

theyre built better , generally have more power but they are heavy as shit.

i have the 18v dewalt albeit a few years old (3 or so) xrp and its perfect. no complaints.

Craftsmen quality has hit the skids ever since they started selling in Kmarts. Seems like they cut back in quality in order to sell to the lower class Kmart shoppers.

and home depot has it for 99

I've been using the Craftsman for quite a while I have the reg and right angle...plus a couple of lights...they have served me well...I ran Dewalt but after several $60 battery packs I changed brands...I also Have some Black & Decker stuff ...they work well..I have all sorts of B&D acc's including lights .....radio chargers...chain saw ...compact drills...Quantum drills...weed eaters ect...They work well also....I know B&D is suppose to be Dewalts low end but its still good for the money plus we carry them at Wal-Mart where I work...
