Cracked P2 Dust Caps.....

So i bought a pallet of Rockford subs and boxes. Lots of the P2's have cracked dust caps, some pretty severe. All of these subs are in working condition though. My question is, whats the best way to seal up the cracks, if there is any good way.....

I know that re-coning these is the best option, but these are cheap subs, not worth the cost and time.

I heard fiberglass mat, possibly on the backside of the dust cap. Some type of epoxy glue. Crazy Glue? Goop?

Like I said, these subs really are not worth the hassle of ordering parts, but if there is a glue or something cheap that i can use to seal them up nicely, i would prolly do that.

If not, sell them off real cheap....

1. Glue some fabric down and resin them2. Smooth them out and paint them

3. Then sell them or install them locally as custom rockfords (painted to color)
Interesting idea. I like it. Prolly consider this if i cannot find a good way to seal the dust cap from the other side.
