If she was clean for an entire year, I highly doubt jail will help.
Even if she goes to jail, its almost as easy to score as it is on the streets.

ok she is 36 year's old... she got hooked on meth when she was 20, moved up to heroin from 25- 30, and ****ed her life up with that, lost her kid's, was living on the street's of pittsburg... it was bad.. then she moved out here to utah to get away from it all..

right now she takes opiate blockers so she cant do herion, perscription drug's ect...

my mom hasent talked to her for over a year, and her father is an alcholic.. ( not my father) she's my step sis, but i was born and raised around her so i look at her like a sis..

yea dude... if it was some chick i knew, i wouldnt be in this situation cause i would have just ignored her/ taken her out of my life..

but it's my sis... the last time she went on a binge i allmost got shot cause i knocked on the drug dealer's door like, where the **** is my sister... he looked at me like boy you know where you are, and you know i would kill you right....

crack is one hell of a drug. We all know the epidemic it has caused and honestly man, your friend may never get off it. The only way she will is if she WANTS to! There really is nothing you can do about it but leave her on her own and hope that she will find her own way out.

The only way she will be helped is when SHE decides its time to get off drugs. It's sad, but true. Dealing with addiction is tough, both for the addict and anyone that has to deal with the addicts actions. Even with rehab, if her mind isnt on getting off drugs and doing the right things, no one will be able to help her. It's ultimately the decision of the addict to be responsible for their recovery...which usually they're in no state to care... It's hard to say what you can do to help, because there may be nothing you can do...

I had a friend that got into cocaine. He can't quite. Main reason - he likes it. He lost everything, including his house. He still won't quite because he like it and there lies the problem with the drug addictions.
