It's good you care for them as much as you do. Either do an intervention, or you may want to stop being friends with her. People like her drain a lot of energy out of you and unless she really wants help, there's nothing you can really do.

well ive known alot of crack heads over the years. some alot worse then others but the ones that dont care and dont want to be helped pretty much cant. they will stay on the run trying to find their next hit. my cousins dad used to live in a $185k house and when he started smoking crack, him and all of his buddies trashed that house. my cousin got less then $60k for the house when he sold it. he tore the ceiling down in the basement b/c he thought he hid some crack up there from his girlfriend. but like the others said the only way to help her is intervention or turn her in and hope she wants to get help. an intervention might open her eyes up tho. and most crackheads that i have known say they get a special high from the first hit or 2 and thats the high they always want. but from what ive heard after your first few hits you dont get the same feeling anymore so some crackheads will smoke a O of crack if they think they can get that feeling back. i never understood it either thats why im glad i dont know anymore crackheads at this time. goodluck with your friend tho.

As I understand it, the high from cocaine in general is a very short, and not that great of a high. the main reason people go back to it, is because the low after you come down is to incredibly low you feel like you need the drug to pick yourself back up.
That's about all I know about the drug, except that I've seen it ruin a lot of loves. not good news.

Man sit her *** down and smoke an ounce of some dro with her. She'll realize that pot is a million times better and she'll realize how stupid crack is. Crack only last 5 minutes, and your come down last forever. Weed keeps you high and hungry for hours on end, with good times and shit.

Even if she goes to jail, its almost as easy to score as it is on the streets.
