Crack in Cone?

I have Eclipse sub with aluminum cones. One of them got hit with something and cracked the cone. It does not go through to the back it is only on the front but when i turn it up it makes a rattling noise. Is there some way that i can patch up that crack so it will sound good.

No, in most cases you will have to just get a new cones which could cost a good 100 bux man

you can try filling the crack with some epoxy resin... if that doesn't work (just flakes off or doesn't intrude the crack well enough) -- yea you are kinda screwed...
