ID comp horns!

cd-1e v.2

they are in PERFECT WORKING ORDER, a little dusty and some smudges on the horn body, a few more cosmetic problems than i would like (but you really gotta get up close and personal to see them!)

these horns are EXTREMELY LOUD with an spl of almost 110/watt/metter

they will take a pretty decent amount of power as well (if your ears can take it!)

they sound AMAZING, i presonally like giving them 12-30 RMS and cross then around 1200-1500

i was not wanting to try to sell these again, but im needing some money for more important parts of my project!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i can send PICTURE via text message (dont have an upload cable)

please get at me @ 330 671 3522.

thanks!

Since you seem to be the only person who knows exactly what they are, i think it would be mighty nice of you to let everyone (Incuding tristan) know...

sorry im so testy, this halodrol is really getting to me, lol
so WTF are these labeled ID for?!?
Both companies sourced the entry level drivers from Motorola and put their name on them. It's the exact same driver but you have USD Waveguides so it does you no good to call them ID comps. It's the same way some companies sourced TC built drivers and slapped their name on them. The fact that your drivers say ID on them doesn't mean anything and it doesn't make this an Image Dynamics set of horns. They're very different.

So in a rundown, ID outsourced and used an oem company to supply the entire build, read up's on the USD wave guides make the horn body itself seem very promising and unless the person is looking for an absolutely audiophile grade horn they are more than likely going to be satisfied with this driver. Given the link to the driver lists it as 60per before shipping and I cant find a price for the USD "recurve" hornbodies the price if "shipped price" seems fair to someone looking for a good set of horns right?

No, Motorola only built the driver, not the horn. Both horns are superb, just very different. It matters. The price is just fine in my opinion, I only wanted to clear up what could have been a headache for both parties but people wanted to argue.

Lol, tristan is young and building his Audio Library of knowledge at a good rate, Glad to hear you say they are superb units, coming from you that should not be taken lightly (the guy builds his own ribbons like it's making a bowl of cereal people). So, an expert has both approved the quality and price of these and that said, some one buy these things before the Halodrol or what ever it was puts him into a rage and he throws his refrigerator through the wall, lol.

For the record, I would pay the asking price for the horn bodies alone if I were still into horns. Someone should grab these and throw a monster driver on them, they won't regret it. These were in my Toyota 1/2 ton mated with 10's. Please forgive the unfinished appearance.
