Covering my power cord in engine block

What do you guys usually use?

Any thing like this Thermo-Flex Heat Shield or this Nylon Expandable Braided Sleeving for Cables and Hoses Where should I go to grab something to do this, as I assume I need to?

route it away from heat sources and pinch points. no need for all that.

Oh? All my other factory wires are covered, what if I want to go from passenger side to driver side?
