you mentioned something about your family, if he had motive to give you a ticket then you might get out of it on that.
Laws are different in every state. Don't make me pwn you like I did in the last thread. Most states even have signs next to the highway that say you must slow significantly or merge into left lane when police and emergency vehicles are on the side of the road. Ignorance of the law is not a defense, in any state. Its common sense, and your supposed to slow down or try and get left even if a car is pulled over due to a breakdown, especially in some areas where the shoulder is narrow.
Guilty for sure, and stupid
Good luck with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gifLaws are different in every state. Don't make me pwn you like I did in the last thread.
It is obvious he seen as more than possible. You must have gotten to close or something. I mean they guy felt threatned for whatever reason. Either you are not being honest with us or you just had bad luck that day. You got the ticket and now because of this you are going to pled not guilty. Good luck and have fun, lol!(1) If the driver of the motor vehicle is traveling on a highway that consists of at least two lanes that carry traffic in the same direction of travel as that of the driver’s motor vehicle, the driver shall proceed with due caution and, if possible and with due regard to the road, weather, and traffic conditions, shall change lanes into a lane that is not adjacent to that of the stationary public safety vehicle.
That is the law straight from the revised code. Now I know I did not break the law, so not guilty it is.
Yes because we know all judges are the same and what not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif One guy might be having a good day and said well this is petty shit and dissmiss it, just to move onto the next guy. Then you could get a judge that is in a shit *** mood and get rapped. It just really depends. Been there done that. I have had pts put on my DL and had fines cut in half. Had not pts put on and paid court costs. Blah, blah, blah. I would pled guilty with an explanation.wat he is saying is true, not knowing isn't a defense.i made a left hand turn at a roundabout instead of going right. its an extremely small infraction so i thought i was just going to get out of it but when i got the DA he told me i could plead guilty, not guilty or ask for a new court date. i was thinkin i could just tell him wat happened but i just chose not guilty. i had to come back before a judge and before i did that i held my case open and talked to the DA and we decided i was gonna go to some driving class inorder to use my PJC. i thought that was such a waste of w/e if it gets it off my record. so i finished the driving class and then went back for a 3rd time and talked to a different DA before i went to the judge again. he asked me wat the last one said and i told him he just said to come back and show the certificate of completion. he asked me if i wanted to use my PJC. then he asked me if i was responsible enough to use my PJC and i told him yes. then i was like well, is there anything else i can do because i dont wanna waste it on this ya know? and he looked at my sheet and said did u get in an accident? i told him no, and then he said tell me what happened. i told him and he was like im dismissing this have a nice day.
moral of the story, is i should have just told the first DA my story. there not going to try and help you, you have to say something.
When I file the complaint I'm also going to ask for a written and signed apology. If I do not receive it, I'll take the story to the local paper. I'm sure the police chief will love reading that article.
Nope, cause I agree with you 100%.If you plead not-guilty(especially without an attorney) you'll have a conviction on your record at the end of the day.
