My makeshift paint booth (hey, it was windy):

Resin smells. Bondo is the biggest pain in the ass ever ... so I quit, sanded half assed, and painted - so yes, there's flaws right now. But I'll make them perfect eventually. Ignore the wires, they're hidden now. CL-61's if you're wondering. Make sure to use enough resin to soak ALL the way through the fleece ... it takes a LOT to do this. Hmmm what else ... oh, the 1503B trim kit from Scosche is the worst kit out there to work with. Had to cut it out so my deck would fit, cut the EQ spot out, then had to modify the factory trim ring to fit. More work than what it was worth, but it looks fine.

Oh, almost forgot.

Tom's truck --- 3" of lift, 33's, nicest sounding exhaust I've heard on a Silverado (it's a '95, and the exhaust is Flowmaster), practical for daily driving yet can tackle the off road scene out here.

Looks good. :thumbsup

The important thing is that they don't clash with your interior. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well, you know they'll either change color ... or the interior will //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Just to explain what I had to do with the 1503B trim kit ...

Had to trim it so the shaft style or whatever it's called unit wouldn't fit anymore ... basically cut it out so it was all set up for a 'normal' head unit. Then had to cut off the remaining 8 million tabs. Then had to cut off the EQ mounting thing to get it to fit. Then had to file down the stock trim piece you pull off to access the screws in order for it to slide past these little 1mm or 2mm metal tabs on the mounting sleeve. Then had to cut the bottom of the stock piece off to get it to fit on there.

Too much work for what it was worth. I'm just going to get a piece of black plastic and do it myself.

Who knows, might even paint the stock trim piece blue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah yeah ... I'll finish them up real nice.

Carpet ... don't have the patience to even try to get it to fit on them ... especially the drivers side. No way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Shove 'em in a box and send them here. I'll finish them up for you and carpet/vinyl/paint them if you're too **** lazy. Nothing pains me more than seeing unfinished bondo work! Nothing, not even being smacked in the head by the wife for being too drunk to realize that waitress at the bar wasn't her.

One day I'll take them out and finish them the proper way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Not only do the kick panels not match the interior, his shoelaces don't match his shoes.
Haha ... they came with the shoes ... so don't blame me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The SIA is a great line of amps. People like to hate. My little SIA does work with 4-8's. And it bangs the lows.
