what is your opinion about the crossfire mini 1000 or the hifonics brz 1700 looking for a decent amp in or around this price range any input?

I can't speak for the crossfire, but I've owned 3 Hifonics amps, a Brutus Elite 60.4, a BXi1206D and an HFi100.4 and I've loved them all. Never had a single problem with heat or anything.
