hey,W7 copy or not, at least they did something from the ground up (looks like every single part too).

But what you really mean is that they copied what other people have put years of research into, and then call it their own? Yea, they've done that before too.

No. Nothing can rival the w7. NOTHING. It's the best (I'll say it again) best subwoofer ever made. Period. Even the 8w7 is better than every other subwoofer on the market, not even in 8" class.
In case you missed the point:

I'd like to know about all the stuff this Ben guy did to piss so many people off. I've read some things about it in this forum from time to time, but I don't know the full extent of it. I've never had any problems with them or their products.

this could take awhile, i'll try to keep it blunt.

- eD(ben) started preorders on a product that never made it out and never refunded people

- eD "borrowing" designs and claiming it as their own

- eD blaming Tangbang for stealing designs from their buildhouse(old buildhouse)

- eD not honoring warranty that was clearly defective product & blaming customer

- eD claiming to being innovative...i.e. claiming to get rid of the triple joint first

- eD taking way TOO many shortcuts on the eDead.

..- first eDead was asphalt, claimed it wasnt

..- 2nd eDead claimed it was butyl when it didnt have any at all, it was a different formula of rubber

...-eD now uses some butyl in their eDead but now they got rid of foil backing and using Mylar(plastic); mylar burns and soo does butyl = big firehazard. also backing will separate since nothing sticks to plastic well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

- eD claiming their subs sizes are 1 size bigger than everyone else because of a different surround....which ID uses too, yet they dont rename it

Wow, that's incredible! I had no idea all that was going on. I do like the eD sub I have though. I guess I'll be looking elsewhere next time I need to buy something.

I don't think so, I think he's laughing at the thread title. BTW, how'd you like the game this past Sunday? I'm sure as a Dallas fan you're happy with the win, but did you think the Skins would give them that tough of a game? I sure didn't, and I'm a Skins fan. Dallas will be tough to beat this year.

And that is all we ask. Nobody here wants to see one of our own get screwed... hopefully you have had good luck with your eD product (glad you have). But many people have not. Please help show we will not support Ben or eD's methods by no longer purchasing their products.
