Could These Settings On An Amplifier Cause A Subwoofer To Blow

Hmm, alright. Well thanks for trying to help me out. I may be hearing impaired, but I can still hear fine, just not the highs/voices sometimes when a sub lows/bass overcomes it. Im thinking a Fi Q 15" is a combination of both SQ and SPL correct? Im thinking that should suit my needs.

u need to set your gains with a oscope/dmm to make sure your not clipping. we can't tell you if your clipping based on the positioning of the gain knob because it varies in every situation. Alot of it has to do with your HU.......Halfway don't seem too much to me, but if you have an 8v Eclipse HU, you very likely would be pushing the limit.... What's your bass boost at?

I've had two Rs on a hercules and i turned the gains up and bass boost up for one day and played for long hours and never had a problem...... (heavy clipping) - just to see how long they last.... I'm telling you to show you how stable they are..... I've had my setup for almost a year.
