Cost for lift

Ok I have a 97 ford expedition Eddie bauer. I'm thinking of getting a lift. And bigger tires obviously. Few questions. Do I need to upgrade anything else along with it like brakes? If so I prob won't so this. But, how much does a lift cost for one that won't be used offeoading? Just for looks. And then one that will be used for offroadding?

you can add a 3" leveling kit for the front and a extra rear leaf spring for about 1" more in the rear for about $200

Forgot to mention, I got a 16 cu ft box with two batts in the back. Not sure how long I'll keep that tho. But 3 to 4 inch lift and big tires is the goal

Depending how big and tire size, you might need to get your truck re-geared.
