Correct Impedance?

Simply just making sure my mind has it right. I am purchasing a pair of subwoofers, which are DVC 2 ohms. I need to wire both subs to have a final impedance of 2 ohms to the amp (where it makes its peak power).

The subs are sealed, and in separate chambers. The enclosure has a pair of speaker terminals for each sub. Here is a diagram I sketched up showing my scenario, and am also asking if this is the correct way to wire it.

let's see if i've learned anything. looks like you have the subs wired in a series which would make each sub 4ohm. running them both to the amp bridged should drop them back to 2ohm. so yea, i'd say it's right. but in all honesty i just come on here to look at my avatar....ha!

Close. The subs are wired in series with respect to their voice coils but are parallel to each other. Bridged is the incorrect term to use.
