Your right it would have been, then I could laugh in his face about it...but my dad isnt deaf so he would have been able to communicate with them, thus eliminating getting tazered.

would this be any different if the guy was not in the shower (still not connected to the "shooting") and the cops bust in the door and he shoots them, not knowing they were cops? you know the whole defend your property deal.
he would be hung up and sentenced for that, but it doesnt work both ways?????

When cops enter a house the allow the person to know that they are indeed the police by vocal yelling. They also have "SWAT"/"FBI"/"ATF" or "blank County Sheriff clearly written on their uniforms/protective armor. They make it very clear that they are indeed police.

Just out of curiosity why is whenever there is a thread started which involve law enforcement the bulk of the forum always side against the police??? They are here to protect us. Why are the so hated?

Officers were worried about their own safety because at the time it appeared Williams was refusing to obey their commands to show his hands. That's when they shot him with a Taser.

Yeah, like his hands were behind his back during the entire standoff. There's a ***** man in a towel so the only place to hide something would be in your hands, unless you want to say he had a sawed off taped to his leg. I seriously doubt the police didn't see the man's hands. It seems as if that's a lame excuse by the department to taser him.
