my friend is a sherriffs deputy and before he was allowed to have one he had to be shot by one.......i know every officer in lorain county ohio knows what it feels like....

One does not need a weapon to be dangerious. Either way, they were responding to a "shooting" and prepared for the worse. Again, the report says the man was not injured, yea it may of hurt for a while but in the end no damage was done.

This is true, however they are supposed to be deescalating the situation. Maybe listening to the guy say I cant hear or stopping to think for a second that someone getting out of the shower right now IS NOT involved in the shooting. THat really just seems like common sense to me. If they didnt feel he was dangerous enough that they could have shit him in defense of their own lives, they shouldnt need to tazer him.

THere may be some details missing, but from what I can tell this is just another instance of cops just using their tazers prematurely.

Why think, when I can tazer him and ask questions later.

from what ive seen people on tv get tazed it doesnt matter when you get tazed or how it messes you up.....point being they all know how bad it feels so to say they are going willy nilly tazing people cause they dont know they hurt is just a weak argument.....

i do feel its getting out of hand, hell i saw on the news a couple months ago a cop tazed a women while she was in the back of the police cruiser hand cuffed......thats insane....

Whats wrong, cop give you a ticket when you "didn't deserve it" and now they are not to be trusted. Funny how a very few number of cops can ruin all cops reputation, but if I were to say the same about a minority everyone would be crying about racism.

yeah x2 on the suing! that shit is getting out of hand, they're tasering EVERYONE now-a-days!

my gf's dad was involved in a high speed chase....

his tires were spike stripped out...

he was tazared...

it hurt...

he went to jail...

let him out months later on account PTSD, which caused him to flip out and run (joined the army when he was 15 to get away from an abusive grandmother, who only took care of him because his parents abandoned him. seeing veitnam doesnt help much either)...

so you can tack another one on to the tazered list if you wish
