I've had tickets in the teens in numbers since I had my license. Most of them I fully deserved, 2-3 of them had extenuating circumstances beyond my control, but are still illegal so whatever. I don't mind getting a ticket for breaking the law thats perfectly ok with me. What I do mind is hearing from everyone of my friends about getting off with a warning. My best friend has gotten pulled over as much as me and only 3 tickets to his name the rest were warnings....sounds fair right? I also was a poor highschool kid with a beat up Pontiac 6000 for my first vehicle, I would get pulled over just because my vehicle looked like a drug dealer car. I drove late at night often, because I would visit my bro in the neighboring city and drive home around 2-3am, got pulled over a few times I'm certain were just because the cop wanted to check if I was drinking (I don't drink and drive and at that time in my life did no drugs, I was a good kid, always very polite to the officers. Regaurdless I think officers are just harder on kids assuming most of us are just partying low-lifes. I just don't like the profiling, I asked 2 cops I know one a good friend and one is my cousin, if they would pull me over if they just saw me driving in my 6000 both of them admitted yes.
Wow awesome news the cops will ignore some spoiled brat with a nice car and pull me the poor obediant kid over instead and issue me tickets keeping me more poor. I could be making profiling up in my head, but it sure seems to point that way for me. I don't mind cops, I just think the system is unfair. The 2 things I can't stand are the judicial system and insurance agencies. Sure is nice that they can ensure their profit margins by setting standards and rules for their own insurance cases huh? Oh and not to mention it is illegal to not have drivers insurance, whats to stop all the companies from having talks about costs and having somewhat of a monopoly? nothing.
