cops are dbags

Haha^^

Our cops are pretty cool here.. Its the Troopers that really get on a Power trip... Even the cops dont like them, nor understand why they are continuously in the city with nothing to do but sit , wait and harass / and pull people over for non harmful, petty crap that no city cop or sheriff would ever bother you about .. I dont know why troopers think they are high and mighty.. IMO they are the biggest ******* of them all.. They never handle ( or very rarely ) handle dangerous situations.. It more like a Parking enforcement cop on a power high.. With a goofy hat

You guys have to realize.. the difference between a dbag cop and a cool one is this,.......a cool cop is not one that let's you get away with ****, that's a stupid cop, cause he's not doing his job properly. It doesn't make him a cool cop, it makes you a lucky ****. A cool cop is one who helps you when you ask for it. A dbag cop is one that does let you get away with ****, and doesn't help when you ask for it. If you don't **** up, there is no reason to complain except when you really need them and they are not there for you. For instance, a dbag cop is one that will give you a ticket for parking the wrong way on a street when you are moving in to make it easier to carry **** in your house, especially with a disability. A dbag cop is one that gets a call for someone running a stop sign and doesn't do anything cause they didn't see it. A dbag cop is one that ignores the job and let's ********* get away with ****. Its the cool cops that do their job right and still manage to protect AND serve, not just protect. One that will help you change your tire if he has the time, not telling you you have a time limit on how long you have to change it before the car is towed and ticketed. That's my experience. I have a few friends that are locals and still treat me as a patron, as they should....not a friend, when they are on the job. **** is corrupt man. Too much bs I think, and lazy ***** that consider it just a job. If I treated my experience in the military as just a job, I wouldn't have made it back home. They should be no different.

either you didnt read my post, or your just missing it completely.. Cops in my town pullk plenty of ppl over, but they are more understanding, maybe know the situation, etc... The troopers hide, very sneaky and pull everyone over to the point where it is ridiculous.. They abuse their power and have 100s of complaints withh the state ( in my county ) .. pulling people over in rush hour for going 49 in a 45 is BS, giving someone a tint ticket then telling them it has to be off the car in 30 days ( understandable ) but continuing to pull the same person over 3 more times in that 30 days, Not understandable.. Excessive acceleration on a 70 mph highway, LEAVING the shoulder from a stop after just being pulled over a few minutes prior, is BS... Saying that a car with aftermarket exhaust ( WITH a muffler and a cat ) is illegal and grounds for impounding, when 90% of the trucks on the road have no muffler echo cans and no cat, is BS ( oh and lets not forget Harleys....) ... Threatening to tow your car because the drivers side window doesnt work , because its a threat to his safety is BS.... This is just a few examples , examples where the driver has been me...

Again' date=' don't break the law & you won't get a ticket. And if you do decide to break the law don't cry when you get caught. You admitted to driving down the highway at night without lights. Not only is that stupid & highly illegal, it's also very dangerous for innocent motorists.[/quote']

I just did a little of that myself, DOnt be that guy whos a perfect driver and never misses a beat, your not... and here you would get a ticket for it..

Most of them around me are decent. You won't get pulled over for speeding in the DFW area unless you're going at least 10 over; drive 7-8 over and you're golden. I got a ticket recently for not having my registration up to date(had it in my center console, just never put it on). Granted, I was about 5 months late on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Just got it put on and paid the $20 dismissal fee...problem solved.

The cop was a pretty big D though, but he was a younger guy. Every other time I have gotten pulled over, the cop was fine.

Are you **** in stupid? It wasnt the highway. Dumba$s, and how often do you hear of cops actuslly doing something good?.

I cant tell you how much i read or see on the news of cops beatings, brutality, etc. for nothing.

It was a 25 mph with over head lights and my car was illuminated,, its silvrr. Didnt wana blind the guy but ok, what would you do?

A trooper & a cop are two totally different things. And again' date=' don't break the law & you won't get fined. It's a very simple concept. If for some unknown reason you get a ticket for something you didn't do or isn't illegal take it to court, where it will be dismissed, & then file a complaint against the officer at question. Talking **** about cops & crying about it won't solve anything.[/quote']

LMAO you missed the point again? Ive had 7/8 of my tickets from the sme trooper dismissed, and if you didnt see , the troopers in this county have complaints of harassment since the late 90s......... and excuse me? how are a trooper and cop "2 totally different things"? THEY ARE BOTH LAW ENFORCEMENT , meant to serve and protect, not to harass and annoy, with a powertrip like ego.... please explain

Driving without lights at night has nothing to do with your ability to drive. It's called common sense.
So you lack common sense? I didnt do that, why are you quoting me ?

FWIW, state troopers (at least in NY) are a paramilitary organization whereas local law enforcement is not. I believe this is true in many states in the US but I could be mistaken.

I realize and Im sure most other ppl notice the chain of authority, in the sense that alot of us see the traffic/law enforcement scale goes like this

1) State trooper

2) Sheriff

3) City cop

But WHAT or WHY is a state boy at the top of the list?? THey dont do a **** thing!!! they patrol the interstate and freeway looking for speeders or expired tabs... the city cops are the ones who deal with murders, drive bys, drugs, bar brawls etc... IMO the troopers ( like I posted above ) are the biggest babies around.. and WHY may I ask are they patroling in the city?

b/c that would not be good media and would bore viewers. Nobody wants to hear about good cops.

I dont know you but you seem like a douche. There is a difference between an actual definition and a slang definition. Where I am from we call the roads within a city a street, A highway is usually a country road with a 45-55mph speed limit and the interstate is just that. We also have a city highway we call the belt line. technically it is a highway buy most people will look at you weird if you say "highway 12/18" as in the Madison are we refer to it as the belt line

So where he is from, he doesnt refer to it as a highway. Also DRL's use the headlight. Headlights are illuminated when the car is on or in drive. Only issue I could see is sometime the DRL's dont turn tail lights on. Was the OP wrong? Yes and no. He was driving his car in a "broken" state but is it worth parking your car instantly and calling for a ride/tow? Props to him for even noticing his headlight burned out as most people dont notice at all. That is until a cop pulls them over and tells them. Most police officers would either tell them to get it repaired and bring it in or let them know it needs to be done ASAP. Only time I have EVER seen a ticket for it was a friend that was pulled over multiple times for the same problem.

He broke the law & got caught.

You are dense. That is about all I can say as I know you will not be wrong or understanding of the situation in any way shape or form. I just hope one day your tail light burns out and a cop flips **** on you, maybe then you'll appreciate the meaning of "**** happens". A responsible person would have a spare in their car but not everyone is perfect.
