Cops and Fix-it tickets

So today I got stopped cuz these 2 cop cars were blocking the entranceway to my school so I started going in the exit since there was no one coming and this cop got all pissed off at me. But anyways I have my whole interior ripped out cuz I'm running wires and installing my cd player and stuff. Well he said he should give me a ticket cuz the dash lights that light up the HVAC controls weren't covered so they were "shining too brightly". Was that total BS or can they really give you a ticket for anything they can think up?

its only because you pissed him off. if you hadn't done that he probably wouldn't have looked for reasons to give you a hard time. i got a fix it ticket for no front license plate.

I think as long as you dont remove your air bags and seat belt, you can do what you want with the interior
