Does gas get cheaper when the price of oil barrels goes down?

actually it does, cuz the price of a barrel is rated in futures, meaning the price of a barrel today is what the consumers will be paying a month from now upon actual delivery. so with that being said unless opec decreases production like it said it will do if the price reaches 80 a barrel, expect to pay less for gas next month vs what you paid this month

all i know is that we need to reduce our oil consumption in the US. make cars that are actually fuel efficient, because 34 mpg isn't good, its just good compared to what we're used to. the 1934 Packard got 34mpg, before interstates so thats what we would consider a city/in town rating

Also, nuclear power would help reduce our oil and coal consumption
