There is no effort whatsoever with EAC/LAME. Once you configure the EAC front end (simple setup), then your MP3 conversions are literally 1 click, including CDDB connection, titles, subdirectory, and ID tagging.Also, if you're going to go through the effort of using EAC and LAME and to make MP3s, why not just go with OGG/Vorbis and call it a day?
Nothing else out there is more thorough at quality dismissal of irrelevant bits. Also, if you have damaged CD's, (with the option selected) they will do an extraordinary job at correcting data bit errors. It takes much longer to rip like this, but your result is as close to "perfect" as you can get.
