Convertible Bass Question

Lets say (hypothetically) i wanna put 2 12" Fi Q subwoofers in my trunk along with 2 sets of Hertz Mille MLK 165 Components...

I am wondering if the vibrations will ruin the top / will any damage occur to the convertible top?

I would guess so, I wouldn't be surprised if it started to rip off, but I couldn't say for sure and depends how much power we're talking about putting to them

I'd be careful. If subs can flex windows, I'm sure some pressure could tear the top. As long as you don't get a few 2000w subs I think you should be fine.

i haven't had any problems with my convertible top at all, but i'm running significantly less power than you are. i just have a type R running off like 700rms inside my car where the backseat used to be.

i do get a lot of vibration, and that hasn't done anything, but i couldn't speak about pressure levels because my system is nothing compared to what yours would be.

but if your top is anything like mine it doesn't seal up perfectly anyway, so air escapes. but my car is really old. im sure newer convertibles seal up a lot better...
